A fare gli onori di casa ci ha pensato il CTO Juergen Mueller, che ha tenuto a ribadire durante il suo atteso keynote che “per i nostri clienti e partner in tutto il mondo, il futuro è nel cloud”. E non a caso, il tema conduttore degli annunci illustrati e anticipati a SAP TechEd 2021 è stato soprattutto quello di “rendere il viaggio verso il cloud sempre più facile”, come ha sottolineato il CTO.

Kyndryl e VMware, partnership rafforzata nel segno del multicloud e delle app (e.b., ImpresaCity)

Il distacco ufficiale da IBM, sancito nei giorni scorsi, mette le ali a Kyndryl. Dopo la partnership a tutto campo con Microsoft, è ora la volta dell’ampliamento dell’accordo strategico con VMware, incentrato sulla modernizzazione delle app e sui servizi multi-cloud.

L’obiettivo principale dell’ampliamento, si legge in una nota, è quello di accelerare l’IT e la reinvenzione del business per i clienti attraverso la combinazione tra soluzioni VMware e servizi di progettazione, realizzazione e gestione di Kyndryl. Le due aziende mirano anche ad aiutare i clienti ad accelerare la trasformazione digitale costruendo e implementando rapidamente nuove applicazioni più sicure, progettate e costruite per un mondo del lavoro distribuito.
