Reducing global emissions in accordance with the Paris Agreement would impact on global temperatures within two decades, according to a new study.
The new study, published in Nature Climate Change, shows that keeping warming to 1.5C would reduce the risk of “unprecedented warming rates”.
It’s authors stress the ability of strong climate action to bring about benefits within current lifetimes and not just far into the future.
